When I started reading I thought another gangster book with love interest.
How wrong could I be, we have Lee madly in love with Rose.

At the beginning we have Rose, Dana and they friend Katie running a Coffee
Shop. Dana and Rose have escaped to Scotland to start a new life, and help
Victims of Domestic violence.
Both Dana and Rose have both escaped their abusive Ex-boyfriends.
Dana’s story was told in Book 1(This can be read as a standalone).

Rose is trying her best to let go of her fears from her past, and is hesitant to
start a relationship with Lee. Deep down Rose would love to give in, but is to
Scarred to take a chance. Lee has told his father he is retiring from the illegal side of business.
He want to make a family with Rose and Annie and wants no part of his past to put them in danger.

I think all the other reviews have covered the nitty gritty, All I want to say is wow! I was glued from start to finish.
I couldn’t put my kindle down, I was crying. It was so emotional, this book stayed with me for days.
This definitely a five star read *****
All I can say is where is book three?

This book was nothing like I expected, it was much better.
At first I thought Young adults this is not what I expected.
I don't want to give too much away , but we have a definite supernatural and mystic element.
Astrid has the power to see people's bubbles, and can tell what people are feeling.
Meeting a handsome cowboy Victor in her last year at school changes her life in a big way.
I loved Victor, he had dreams of his future. When he met Astrid he knew she was his future.
We have a big conspiracies, a kidnap, attempted murder which brings all the friends and families together to help save Scarlett and Reggie.
I loved this book, I loved it so much I read in one go.
I just hope Lana Dempsey is busy writing number two, I can't wait.
This book is definitely 5 stars, which I rarely give.

Sacrifice of Innocence by Allison M. Cosgrove

The Sacrifice of Innocence is a good old fashioned murder mystery and I loved it.
When I started reading I nearly consumed it one seating, the story drew me in straight away.
Stan Brookshire has managed to link cases of child abduction and murder together, and a serial killer is responsible.
After the death of his partner , he turned to drink and his wife left him. He was a broken man until partnered with Jane Trinity, with help of Jane and her family he cleaned his act up.
After the arrest of a suspect things start to go wrong, especially when another child is abducted.
I don't want to give too much away, things move at a fast pace with a traitor working against Jane and Stan. He has no choice but to work on his own.
I will say I followed the bread crumbs and guessed who the traitor was. I thoroughly enjoyed it, as I as I'm looking forward to Stan Brookshire number two.

I have to say I love all of Ann Jacobs books, and this one no different. Stalking the Dark  is book 3 in the D'Argent family series of books.
The series is concerned with capture and killing of a vampire serial killer.
Louis Reynard, a renegade who was rejected by Alina the vampire queen.
In anger at the rejection, he has left a trail of dead lookalikes across Europe and America.
In book 2 Shadowing the Beast, Stefan D'Argent meets his life mate Julie Quill.
All the family has arrived in New Orleans for the wedding.
Alina and Sam Quill, Julie's widowed father have become attracted to each other.
After the wedding Alina decides to spend with Sam and get to know him better in and out of bed.
I really enjoyed this couple, for once we have an older man, and an even older woman.
In other words a mature couple who have really fallen for each other.
Sam is really dominate kind of man who won't bow down to anyone.
It's that trait that has made Alina fall for him. Sam has fallen hard for Alina, but doesn't
want to become a vampire. So they decide to enjoy what time they have together.
This quite a short book, but plenty of action in and out the bedroom.
I would have say this book has a lot more sex, than the previous books from the series.
Now I can't wait to get stuck into book 4
I happily give this Book 4 ****

This was a great start to a series about Dragon Shifters,
where they are supplied with a female sacrifice.
In this world where a vial of dragons blood can heal human illnesses.
This is the story of Melanie and Tristan,
Melanie has offered herself for 6 months in return for a vial to cure her brother's illness.
When she meets Tristan, she see a tall muscled Dragonman who hates humans.
Melanie and Tristan have six months for Melanie to conceive.
This is a great introduction to the series, and I thoroughly enjoyed the relationship
that develops between the two, as well the world building.
I am starting book two as we speak.

This book was amazing , you really felt for Emily waking up and realising she had made a huge
mistake. I really felt the insecurity ,
and her feelings of inadequacy when going for her job interview.
I was with her all the way.
Then she meets Brad and Trevor, and they needed her more.
The romance between Brad and Emily built slowly,
becoming friends and learning to trust each other.
This book is emotional, and you can't help being pulled along with it.
This is the first book in The Friessen Family series, and I'm going to buy the rest.

What a lovely book this was to read, I'm really enjoying this series. You feel like you are among olds friends.
In this book we meet Callie a young mother, and her daughter Lillie.
They run out of petrol about 5 miles outside Cotton Creek. Luckily Billy Sweet comes to the rescue in more ways than one.
Before Callie knows what's happened Billie takes them to the Honky Tonk bar and grill for something to eat. Where they become embraced by the Sweet family, Callie ends up working at the bar and grill.
Cody offers them a place to stay at her Ranch.
Jayce Weathers is divorced, and he has a teenage son Carson. His known as a player, but falls for Callie and Lillie. This is a wonderful romance, with great characters and lots going on.
I read this in one sitting, I already looking forward to the next in the series.

I really loved this book, can you imagine meeting your favourite Facebook friend and he turns out to be
your movie star heartthrob.
I think you'd pass out, which is what happened to Analise Becke when she comes face to face with the man she lusted after for years. Analise writes western romance, and hero is based on the man in front of her.
This was a wonderful story filled deranged Ex husbands, and enough heat to start a fire.
We were introduced to the characters of Cotton Creek, and this is the prequel to the series Honky Tonk Angels.
I highly recommend this book to lovers of romance with added extras, including hot cowboys
