?Legend (Real, #6)Legend by Katy Evans
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have been looking forward to this book since it was announced. One part of me did not want anyone to hurt my Remy. I fell in love with Remy, and couldn't see myself warming up to someone who wanted to hurt him.
Katy Evans did it again. I loved the book. I loved it so much I listened to the Audio edition as well.
What a pleasure that was having Sebastian York speaking in my ears, and of course Grace Grant as Reese.
It's hard not put in any spoilers. It was great to see the gang again, and little Racer was adorable.
The relationship between Reese and Maverick was at centre of the story. The conflict only
started when Reese and Mav discovered who each other were. It was a delight to read, and when I got to the end I wanted more.

Review: Second Snowfall

Second Snowfall Second Snowfall by Sarah Fischer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Second Snowfall starts after the Christmas holiday break. In this semester we follow the exploits of Annabelle’s first relationship with the sexy Kingsley, where she bites of more than she can chew. Violet is still with David, buts problems from the past come back to interfere with their happiness.
This book follows the three best friends’ adventures at college and their journey into adulthood. I enjoyed the slice of life good and bad. There is plenty going on before Annabelle finally realising who she really in love with. In this book we meet Christie who becomes fast friends with Violet and Annabelle and who is properly will have a starring role in the next slice of life from The Chronicles of Elton Hall.
This is definitely geared to the younger reader, new adult even though there some of the darker parts of college life. Annabelle comes across more like a High school age in relation to her relationships. It was pleasant read just not my cup of tea.

Review: Star Struck

Star Struck Star Struck by Laurelin Paige
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Star Struck is a romance with a heart. Seth and Heather meet when they are working on a charity that helps talented youngsters from underprivileged backgrounds a chance to work with some professionals on their own talent.
Heather has a large chip on her shoulder about her own poor background she keeps hidden. So when they meet Heather thinks Seth is a carpenter working on the props and sets. Heather immediately makes it clear she doesn’t fraternise with the crew.
What follows is an entertaining game of cat and mouse watching Seth win the girl. I loved Seth straight away, but it took longer to warm up to Heather. A drama queen with weird ideas, her poor assistant Lexi deserved a medal. This is an entertaining romance between two damaged people that came from very poor backgrounds. It was great to see the trust grow between them, towards their own HEA. The chemistry between the couple is red hot, so this also a sexy hot read.

Review: Blaze

Blaze Blaze by Suzanne Wright
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have to say I love all of Suzanne's Series, but I am now hooked on Harper and Knox.
This is a totally new world and book two goes much deeper into that world.
Harper is still struggling with her new role as Co-Prime, and in this book we see her grow into her role. Knox and Harper's relationship gets stronger everyday.
I just love all the Imps and Sentinels and the rest of the characters in this rich world that has been created by the pen of Suzanne Wright.

Review: Lukas

Lukas Lukas by F.G. Adams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lukas is the forth book in the series, and I’ve enjoyed everyone.
Lukas was injured when he was in the Middle East, and lost one of his legs. Lukas and Sage met when they were both working in the Middle East before he lost his leg.
When Oliver and Fallyn go away on honeymoon Sage comes to look after Harper at the compound. It was an opportunity for Lukas to pin down Sage. This book is at times very emotional and at other times humorous. I loved Lukas’s nickname Hulk or the jolly green giant on the account of his size.
I enjoyed the Lukas and Sage song and dance they were both great characters and I was with them every step of the way. This book had keep me glued to my kindle.

Review: One Love

One Love One Love by Christie Ridgway
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

One love, is book four and last in the series. This is Mac and Zan’s story, they had grown up together and then became an item before Zan went off to be a documentary film maker and traveled the world. It is now ten years later and he has come back to Walker Mountain to settle his grandfather’s affairs.
The Walkers are a large and close family, all the siblings have found their loves except Mac and it has left her very bitter and Zan coming back and wanting her back in his bed is not helping. I became very annoyed with Mac and Zan they drove me mad. I found it hard to warm up to them. I did love the rest of the family and Tilda and Ash.
I think to get fall enjoyment you need to read the series. The sibling all have great stories to read. It was Mac and Zan didn’t do for me, and it could have been a lot shorter. The epilogue and the weddings was a great finish to the series.

Review: Adonis in Athens

Adonis in Athens Adonis in Athens by Kat Mizera
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on behalf of Book Addict Live,
Adonis in Athens is a delightful second chance romance. It’s the first in Romancing Europe series.
Apollo and Paige met three years before at a spring break in Las Vegas. They had an amazing time and fell for each other, but Apollo had to go straight back to Greece after. Paige had a hazy drunken memories of a marriage, but never found any paperwork so Paige put it out of her mind.
When Paige and Apollo meet up again in Athens, they realised the chemistry between is still as stronger than before.
This is charming romance which kept me entertained from start to finish. It was a great holiday read, conjuring sandy beaches and making love in the sun.
I received the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Review: Bad Deeds

Bad Deeds Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow I am still shaking while I try write this review, this book is action packed and deeply emotional. First of all how does she do it, there is so much going on in this book I couldn’t put it down. In this book Shane has to get tough to save the Brandon Industries for the Martina Cartel. It’s great to see how deep the relationship is between Shane and Emily with her secrets out in the open.
To anyone following the series all I can is “O my God this is a must read." If you are not following The Hard Rules Series I can’t recommend it enough. Things are never easy with so many obstacles the characters have to overcome it keeps me in the story all the time. I now have to wait until January for the next book I’m a nervous wreck.

Review: Rocky Mountain Home

Rocky Mountain Home Rocky Mountain Home by Vivian Arend
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It was with grateful thanks tinged with sadness that I started this book. I have followed this series from the beginning when Jaxi was determined to get Blake to see her as a women. So I feel like I know Jessie quite well, so it was a treat to follow his journey with Dare and their hea.
When Dare met Jessie for the first time it was an emotionally bad time for both of them. So a night of drunken hot sex was remembered by both parties for different reasons. Jessie was trying to find Dare because he kept thinking about her, and Dare was looking for Jessie for another reason. The first part of the book follows Jessie and Dares Journey towards each other. Then we end up back in Rocky Mountain for the rest and it’s a family reunion for all parties including myself who had followed all the couples’ stories through the whole series.
If you have followed the series this is a treat to catch up with everyone, and to watch Jessie taking the final step to becoming a good man. If you haven’t followed the series why not? You need to start at book one Rocky Mountain Heat. This is a five star treat for anyone.

Review: Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver Dreamweaver by Sable Hunter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the story of Pepper McCoy and Judah James, who meet before he becomes famous.
Sable is never afraid to have her leading characters suffering from various disabilities, and showing her strong female leads overcome them with dignity and strength.
In this romance we have Judah finding out he is suffering from something that he thinks Pepper would not cope with, and starts to push her away. As always the strong emotions and strength shown are tribute to the writing as I loved this book front start to finish. This is a sexy emotion led romance and I enjoyed every minute. This is a must for Sable Hunter fans.

Review: Come Back

Come Back Come Back by Candy J. Starr
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Come back is love story about a has-been from a boyband who is taking charge of his life and writing the music he wants and staging a comeback with a new album. Asher found fame as a teenager and everything came easy i.e. Groupies, money and fame and it went to his head.
Alice a star photographer for a prominent rock magazines and is appalled when her editor tells her she has to spend a week following a manufactured pop singer turned bad boy manwhore Asher Savage.
What happens is the more they get to know each other they begin to find more in common, and they both learn not to judge too quickly. This is an enjoyable journey they both travel to gain understanding and love for each other.
I really enjoyed this book, I read it straight through and loved Asher when you got to know him. It took me longer to warm up to Alice, but as things heated up it made it easier to like her. I am looking forward to Come Closer the final book with Asher and Alice’s HEA. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
