Review: Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine

Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine by Lisa Renee Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,

All Mine is the follow on from Dirty Rich Obsession and the next step in Carrie and Reid’s life. This was a wonderful addition to the first Book. Especially Reid who really showed how loyal and how much he loved his family, and being with Carrie allowed him to express his feelings to his sister Cat, and it was a pleasure see their mended relationship.
That is all about love and his devotion to Carrie , because anyone who reads LRJ all the time knows we always have the enemies. Carrie’s father, Reid’s father is a given, but someone else climbs out the slime to ruin Reid and Maxwell Enterprises.
So, we have it all, intrigue, love, hot sex, and set in New York at Christmas. Did I say hot sex, I mean steamy hot!
A Great read to spend your  christmas gift vouchers on.

Review: Game On: a book in the Cotton Creek Saga

Game On: a book in the Cotton Creek Saga Game On: a book in the Cotton Creek Saga by Ciana Stone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
Game on is a novella that reads like a novel there is so much action involved. We meet Dillon Walker the football Coach at Cotton Creek high school. In Lincoln Shaw Lulu was brought to Cotton Creek to pose as Dillon's Assistant Coach and girlfriend. As you all know Lulu fell in love with Lincoln, so Josie has been brought to be his new bodyguard and fake girlfriend. All because his uncle is a US Senator and receiving threats against his family.
Have you got all that, Josie is colleague and friend of Lulu’s, so she fits in and begins to love her assignment, and her assignment begins to love her back.
Wow this is a hot romance between Dillon and Josie, with plenty of action in and out of bed. We begin to see more of the Walker family in this novel as we get ready to start The Legacy Series still based around Cotton Creek and I can’t wait

Review: Love, Sincerely, Yours

Love, Sincerely, Yours Love, Sincerely, Yours by Sara Ney
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on Behalf of http://bookaddict.live,
I really loved this book and especially Peyton who has an unrequited attraction to her boss. Rome her boss has no idea Peyton exists, when he whole concentration is totally on the business he built from the ground.
That is until she hands in her notice, as she is starting her own business. Hoping for some work as a consultant, with no luck. While working her notice Rome finds out how irreplaceable she is.
After drinking too much at her leaving do, she decides to send him a message or more of a drunken proposition with the theme being “I want to bang you” the phrase that keeps going through Rome’s brain.
At first Rome is appalled, but then he can’t help responding. So the dance begins, as Rome soon realises what an integral part of his marketing Peyton was. Rome becomes obsessed with communicating with handsroamingmybody. This is a slow burn kind of romance, but once on the go gets very hot and Rome becomes quite swoony. Rome is a not a ladies man, devoting himself to his business. His best friend and business partner Hunter is the only person he could talk to. When he was with Peyton she could see through him and knew what he wanted. A really enjoyable read and can’t wait for hunter’s book which hopefully is coming soon.
A Great writing duo has been born and I can’t wait for more.
Wow what great narration, I have read the book and loved it. Listening to this audiobook Ava Erickson and Alexander Cendese just brought the characters to life in a different way. I loved it when Alexander was reading the emails from Peyton it was hilarious. Hunter was great I can’t wait for his book. Ava is always excellent, and brought Peyton to life and the performance which left me mesmerized. This is the first time I have listened to Alexander and it won’t be the last.

Review: The Fog

The Fog The Fog by Amanda McKinney
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
Wow I love a who done it, this was who killed them? When Wesley Cross comes home and finds his ex-girlfriend Leena murdered in his basement. This starts the cat and mouse adventure that keeps you guessing as the body count rising.
I was gripped to my book as I had to discovered what was happening. Wesley trying to find out who the murderer is, so he hires an Entomologist Gwen to help. All goes well until they get trapped in the haunted hotel on the hill in awful weather.
I not going to giving anything else away. So, if you love a murder mystery with a romance thrown in, this is book for you. This was right up my street and as this was my first read by Amanda McKinney, I know it’s not going to be my last. I have to say the cover and the blurb pulled me but it was the writing that made me stay.

Review: As You Were

As You Were As You Were by Lee Piper
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wow when Willow meets the famous music director when she turns up to record the first album. Zeke is nothing like any man she met before.
He works them hard and she feel he is picking on her, mixed in with more sexual heat Wil has ever felt. Deep down his very kind to her and looks after when she is ill. This is heavy on passion and an almost insta love and the deep connection between them. Unfortunately, his Toxic ex-wife pokes her nose in. The story is told from Willow’s pov, as we begin to see Zeke through Willow’s eyes and you can’t help falling for him

Review: Uncanny Valley

Uncanny Valley Uncanny Valley by C.A. Gray
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
Uncanny Valley is a Sci-Fi aimed for Young Adults, but it was eerily close to what we can see the future. I not going to repeat the blurb which is very detailed, so forgive me if I repeat any.
We have Rebecca who is researching about to replicate human feeling or senses for robots or Ai.
The senator has charged the research labs to replicate human emotions in robots. In this world where holographic communication is the norm. Rebecca starts out not believing the conspiracy theories. As more facts come to light, Rebecca begins to believe her father was killed for his views.
Rebecca is very immature in some ways, with Madeline her companion Bot as her only close friend. So in this future where most jobs have been taken by bots, only people with money can enjoy life. Most have no jobs, and not enough to eat.
So this brave new world is not as it seems. This is a very interesting future that the Renegades are trying to stop the end of the human race.
This is definitely book one of a series, as it sets the scenes for the world set in this future world. The Worlds Republic leader William Halpert’s worldwide challenge for researchers to develop synthetic creativity will lead not to the promised utopia, but to the end of the human race.
Melissa was excellent as the narrator, all the different voices were superb, especially the Madeline Bot. I wasn’t pulled out of the book once with bad accents. So for me that was a win.

Well I have waited with bated breath for this book after what happened at the end of The Silver Six. This book is everything you need in the final book of the trilogy. There was so much action and I not going to tell you as the pleasure is finding out for yourself. In this one Becca wouldn’t take no as an answer from a buffed-up Liam.
We get to meet Liam’s mother and father in this book, there is much at stake for the future of mankind, and it was a pleasure to see everyone working together to change the future. Lots of surprises, that’s all for now.

Wolf Tamer Wolf Tamer by Yumoyori Wilson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
My first memories are from when I was 5 years old when I am running for my life and Ian a seven year finds me and takes me back to a wild life sanctuary specially for Wolves.
Harper Blake runs for her life , fighting for her life when she found by seven year old Ian. They become inseparable. While living at the sanctuary she takes care of the wolves. This is a great start to a new series and covers a lot of world building.
As we get to know Ian and Harper who spend all there time together. We watch them grow up and enter into a relationship and gradually she realises someone is killing female shifters. A great imagination introducing the world this book is set in.
I loved the wolves pack names Carter being the alpha with Ian, Liam men’s names. All through the book Harper has no idea their shifters. I loved Yumoyori’s great imagination and can’t wait to read the next book after all the revelations at the end of the book.

Review: Murder in Keswick: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery

Murder in Keswick: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery Murder in Keswick: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery by William Todd
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Well William Todd certainly has managed to recreate the feel of a Sherlock Holmes story. This being an audiobook of only 2hrs 38mins it’s a step into Victorian England with Holmes arriving in Keswick for a restful stay with Dr Watson. On arriving a murder has been committed, a headless corpse gives his holiday a bonus. Ben Werling narrates as Dr Watson and does a fine job holding my attention with this slice of life in Victorian England with a Sherlock Holmes Mystery.

I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by William Todd. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

This is the fourth book in the Boys of Jackson Harbour and its finally Brayden story.
Molly has always had a soft spot for Brayden Jackson. After their one-night stand seven months ago in New York it has been hard to resist him, and now she’s back in Jackson Harbour all bets are off.
Molly had a terrible life in Jackson Harbour, but has now come home with her son Noah. Working closely with Brayden is hell on her willpower. Brayden falls in love and it’s a delight to read this book as we get to know how great Brayden is. Molly has matured and is great at her job and has no eyes for anybody else.
It always fun to read one of Lexi Ryan’s romance’s as they gradually become a family, even Noah fell for Brayden looking up to him as the father figure.
This is smoking hot great book, with great family dynamics. I can’t recommend this romance enough.

I really loved this quirky tale between shy girl Teddy and the mountain man jock she falls for. When teddy is at a party at the Rugby Playing Jocks house, she seems to always be left pouring beer for everyone. Kip bored out of his mind in his bearded disguise to keep the girls away, starts watching Teddy and likes what he sees. He decides to play Hairy Godfather and help her attract the opposite sex. They start the rules list, and as time goes on hey become friends. This was hilarious with all the snark and grump coming from Kip, but I couldn't help falling for Kip.
This is great entertainment and I really loved Teddy and Kip they were adorable together. This is more than a NA sports romance it was so much more.

Review: Dirty Rich One Night Stand: Two Years Later

Dirty Rich One Night Stand: Two Years Later Dirty Rich One Night Stand: Two Years Later by Lisa Renee Jones
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Review on http://bookaddict.live,
To read Two Years Later you need to have Dirty Rich One Night Stand. This is Cat and Reece’s story and we pick the story up two years later the eve of the Murder Trial of the century. Reese is preparing his defence with the usual suspects. It great to see characters from some Lisa’s other books. This is calm before the storm and everything comes at them at once.
It was great to catch up with Cat and Reese I loved them as a couple in the original book, but this a very sensual book as Cat and Reese still have explosive chemistry. That’s all for now I want you to enjoy the book as much as I did. This is a full book not a novella. This is real treat catching up with Cat and Reese. It felt like visiting old friends, and what a visit.

I just loved this book right from the beginning when we hear the opening thoughts in Hoax’s head, as he sees the nurse in the ER who cured his problem without knowing.
Hoax asks Pru out straight away, and she refuses as he is military man. Hoax finally wears Pru down as they start to fall very quickly. This is LLV at her best, this book had it all a great storyline, with lots of different characters that I loved. Pru been around ex-military men and motorbikes all her life so Hoax’s life meshes very well with Pru’s.
This has passion, love, funny parts with a storyline to keep you gripped to your kindle and a big surprise for all. I love this series and its always a pleasure to read.

Review: Scythe

Scythe Scythe by Christina Bauer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live.
Wow I can’t wait for the first full book in the series to come along, but I settle for Umbra. A great introduction into to a new series I can’t wait for. We are introduced to Meimi’s world set well into the future. Where democracy have broken down. Most people live in domes protected from harsh reality and polluted atmosphere.
Meimi lives with her mother in the outer zones, her mother a scientist lives under the radar of The Authority. Nothing has been the same since Meimi sister Luci disappeared a year ago.
This is a great lead on until the main book is published next year. I so excited , I can’t wait for the next book. How Christina Bauer comes up with all her new ideas. I don’t think she sleeps.
Well enjoyed this the first time I read it as dimensional drift. This is a beefed up and extended edition, and still kept me gripped until the end, I now in mourning I need to know what happen next in Umbra. It’s like letting me peak at the present at the top of my Christmas list and then it gone. Please Christine where do you get your ideas, I would like a peak at your imagination because I’m always astounded when you create all theses worlds.
