Review: Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine

Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine by Lisa Renee Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,

All Mine is the follow on from Dirty Rich Obsession and the next step in Carrie and Reid’s life. This was a wonderful addition to the first Book. Especially Reid who really showed how loyal and how much he loved his family, and being with Carrie allowed him to express his feelings to his sister Cat, and it was a pleasure see their mended relationship.
That is all about love and his devotion to Carrie , because anyone who reads LRJ all the time knows we always have the enemies. Carrie’s father, Reid’s father is a given, but someone else climbs out the slime to ruin Reid and Maxwell Enterprises.
So, we have it all, intrigue, love, hot sex, and set in New York at Christmas. Did I say hot sex, I mean steamy hot!
A Great read to spend your  christmas gift vouchers on.

Game on is a novella that reads like a novel there is so much action involved. We meet Dillon Walker the football Coach at Cotton Creek high school. In Lincoln Shaw Lulu was brought to Cotton Creek to pose as Dillon's Assistant Coach and girlfriend. As you all know Lulu fell in love with Lincoln, so Josie has been brought to be his new bodyguard and fake girlfriend. All because his uncle is a US Senator and receiving threats against his family.
Have you got all that, Josie is colleague and friend of Lulu’s, so she fits in and begins to love her assignment, and her assignment begins to love her back.
Wow this is a hot romance between Dillon and Josie, with plenty of action in and out of bed. We begin to see more of the Walker family in this novel as we get ready to start The Legacy Series still based around Cotton Creek and I can’t wait

Review: Love, Sincerely, Yours

Love, Sincerely, Yours Love, Sincerely, Yours by Sara Ney
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on Behalf of http://bookaddict.live,
I really loved this book and especially Peyton who has an unrequited attraction to her boss. Rome her boss has no idea Peyton exists, when he whole concentration is totally on the business he built from the ground.
That is until she hands in her notice, as she is starting her own business. Hoping for some work as a consultant, with no luck. While working her notice Rome finds out how irreplaceable she is.
After drinking too much at her leaving do, she decides to send him a message or more of a drunken proposition with the theme being “I want to bang you” the phrase that keeps going through Rome’s brain.
At first Rome is appalled, but then he can’t help responding. So the dance begins, as Rome soon realises what an integral part of his marketing Peyton was. Rome becomes obsessed with communicating with handsroamingmybody. This is a slow burn kind of romance, but once on the go gets very hot and Rome becomes quite swoony. Rome is a not a ladies man, devoting himself to his business. His best friend and business partner Hunter is the only person he could talk to. When he was with Peyton she could see through him and knew what he wanted. A really enjoyable read and can’t wait for hunter’s book which hopefully is coming soon.
A Great writing duo has been born and I can’t wait for more.
Wow what great narration, I have read the book and loved it. Listening to this audiobook Ava Erickson and Alexander Cendese just brought the characters to life in a different way. I loved it when Alexander was reading the emails from Peyton it was hilarious. Hunter was great I can’t wait for his book. Ava is always excellent, and brought Peyton to life and the performance which left me mesmerized. This is the first time I have listened to Alexander and it won’t be the last.

Review: The Fog

The Fog The Fog by Amanda McKinney
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
Wow I love a who done it, this was who killed them? When Wesley Cross comes home and finds his ex-girlfriend Leena murdered in his basement. This starts the cat and mouse adventure that keeps you guessing as the body count rising.
I was gripped to my book as I had to discovered what was happening. Wesley trying to find out who the murderer is, so he hires an Entomologist Gwen to help. All goes well until they get trapped in the haunted hotel on the hill in awful weather.
I not going to giving anything else away. So, if you love a murder mystery with a romance thrown in, this is book for you. This was right up my street and as this was my first read by Amanda McKinney, I know it’s not going to be my last. I have to say the cover and the blurb pulled me but it was the writing that made me stay.

Review: Uncanny Valley

Uncanny Valley Uncanny Valley by C.A. Gray
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
Uncanny Valley is a Sci-Fi aimed for Young Adults, but it was eerily close to what we can see the future. I not going to repeat the blurb which is very detailed, so forgive me if I repeat any.
We have Rebecca who is researching about to replicate human feeling or senses for robots or Ai.
The senator has charged the research labs to replicate human emotions in robots. In this world where holographic communication is the norm. Rebecca starts out not believing the conspiracy theories. As more facts come to light, Rebecca begins to believe her father was killed for his views.
Rebecca is very immature in some ways, with Madeline her companion Bot as her only close friend. So in this future where most jobs have been taken by bots, only people with money can enjoy life. Most have no jobs, and not enough to eat.
So this brave new world is not as it seems. This is a very interesting future that the Renegades are trying to stop the end of the human race.
This is definitely book one of a series, as it sets the scenes for the world set in this future world. The Worlds Republic leader William Halpert’s worldwide challenge for researchers to develop synthetic creativity will lead not to the promised utopia, but to the end of the human race.
Melissa was excellent as the narrator, all the different voices were superb, especially the Madeline Bot. I wasn’t pulled out of the book once with bad accents. So for me that was a win.

There was so much action and I not going to tell you as the pleasure is finding out for yourself. In this one Becca wouldn’t take no as an answer from a buffed-up Liam.
We get to meet Liam’s mother and father in this book, there is much at stake for the future of mankind, and it was a pleasure to see everyone working together to change the future. Lots of surprises, that’s all for now.

Harper Blake runs for her life , fighting for her life when she found by seven year old Ian. They become inseparable. While living at the sanctuary she takes care of the wolves. This is a great start to a new series and covers a lot of world building.
As we get to know Ian and Harper who spend all there time together. We watch them grow up and enter into a relationship and gradually she realises someone is killing female shifters. A great imagination introducing the world this book is set in.
I loved the wolves pack names Carter being the alpha with Ian, Liam men’s names. All through the book Harper has no idea their shifters. I loved Yumoyori’s great imagination and can’t wait to read the next book after all the revelations at the end of the book.

Well William Todd certainly has managed to recreate the feel of a Sherlock Holmes story. This being an audiobook of only 2hrs 38mins it’s a step into Victorian England with Holmes arriving in Keswick for a restful stay with Dr Watson. On arriving a murder has been committed, a headless corpse gives his holiday a bonus. Ben Werling narrates as Dr Watson and does a fine job holding my attention with this slice of life in Victorian England with a Sherlock Holmes Mystery.

Molly had a terrible life in Jackson Harbour, but has now come home with her son Noah. Working closely with Brayden is hell on her willpower. Brayden falls in love and it’s a delight to read this book as we get to know how great Brayden is. Molly has matured and is great at her job and has no eyes for anybody else.
It always fun to read one of Lexi Ryan’s romance’s as they gradually become a family, even Noah fell for Brayden looking up to him as the father figure.
This is smoking hot great book, with great family dynamics. I can’t recommend this romance enough.

When teddy is at a party at the Rugby Playing Jocks house, she seems to always be left pouring beer for everyone. Kip bored out of his mind in his bearded disguise to keep the girls away, starts watching Teddy and likes what he sees. He decides to play Hairy Godfather and help her attract the opposite sex. They start the rules list, and as time goes on hey become friends. This was hilarious with all the snark and grump coming from Kip, but I couldn't help falling for Kip.
This is great entertainment and I really loved Teddy and Kip they were adorable together. This is more than a NA sports romance it was so much more.

To read Two Years Later you need to have Dirty Rich One Night Stand. This is Cat and Reece’s story and we pick the story up two years later the eve of the Murder Trial of the century. Reese is preparing his defence with the usual suspects. It great to see characters from some Lisa’s other books. This is calm before the storm and everything comes at them at once.
It was great to catch up with Cat and Reese I loved them as a couple in the original book, but this a very sensual book as Cat and Reese still have explosive chemistry. That’s all for now I want you to enjoy the book as much as I did. This is a full book not a novella. This is real treat catching up with Cat and Reese. It felt like visiting old friends, and what a visit.

This is LLV at her best, this book had it all a great storyline, with lots of different characters that I loved. Pru been around ex-military men and motorbikes all her life so Hoax’s life meshes very well with Pru’s.

Wow I can’t wait for the first full book in the series to come along, but I settle for Umbra. A great introduction into to a new series I can’t wait for. We are introduced to Meimi’s world set well into the future. Where democracy have broken down. Most people live in domes protected from harsh reality and polluted atmosphere.
Meimi lives with her mother in the outer zones, her mother a scientist lives under the radar of The Authority. Nothing has been the same since Meimi sister Luci disappeared a year ago.
This is a great lead on until the main book is published next year. I so excited , I can’t wait for the next book. How Christina Bauer comes up with all her new ideas. I don’t think she sleeps.
Well enjoyed this the first time I read it as dimensional drift. This is a beefed up and extended edition, and still kept me gripped until the end, I now in mourning I need to know what happen next in Umbra. It’s like letting me peak at the present at the top of my Christmas list and then it gone. Please Christine where do you get your ideas, I would like a peak at your imagination because I’m always astounded when you create all theses worlds.

Snap Decision is another winner from Jami Davenport. This time our hero is Star Quarterback with the Seattle Steelheads, who has reached a turning point in his life. Tyler Harris who hides behind his BAD BOY persona where he doesn’t care about anyone but himself.
When he is left his family’s run-down mansion on Madrona Island, under the condition he must spend 90 nights on the Island. This is where he meets Lavender and all the old vets who were his uncle’s friends.
This is a fun romance for the most part, especially the orange cat and the brotherhood to keep him occupied. Tyler and Lavender spent their time insulting each other, the worse the insult the hotter they were together. This is Jami at her best, it kept me entertained, and this was I have to finish book once I started reading, I didn’t want to put it down. It never hurts when you have a handsome well- built Quarterback to think about. This is a thoroughly enjoyable read, I spent half the night reading. Tyler and Lavender are hilarious together, as long as they hate each everything will be okay.Unfortunately for them this bad boy had plenty of heart.

WOW WHAT A BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFUL Romance from Melanie Harlow. I just loved her Grams and her matchmaking. Grams is 92 years old when an ex-marine moved in next door who obviously needs some help. Ryan is trying to cope with guilt of losing some his boys in his platoon in Afghanistan, so he has closed himself down. He helps his next door without being asked, and Mrs. Gardener bakes him cookies.
Grams devices a plan to bring Ryan and Stella together. I loved Grams she may be old fashioned but she people and as soon as they meet, and the chemistry is sparking, but the path to true is never easy unless you have a grams.
Off course it wasn’t simple Ryan had issues , and so did Stella. I loved and enjoyed every bit of book.

Then he asks her if she willing to be his fake fiancée to help impress the board of Westbrook Oil the company his family built. The chemistry between Cash and Kara is of the charts, as they get to know each other their affection begins to turn into love. While Cash has been open and you can’t help but love him. Kara keeps her secrets, they certainly came back to bite her. My god Cash was wonderful to Kara, but she was determined to keep her father’s problems to her self.
Cash and Kara were so good together it was wonderful story to read, with chemistry of the charts, scorching hot sex , and plenty of action in and out of the bedroom. this book had it all. One of those you start reading and before you know it your at the end. What a wonderful epilogue!

What a great read I enjoyed everything about this book. Brodie is a darling he had it all going for especially with women, then Mary walks into his life. Not being used to women ignoring him and putting in his place. Mary works for an eccentric collector and Mary pay and collect his purchases, and Brodie has been employed to be the driver.
Brodie is not the polished man she thinks she wants but can’t help the way he makes her feel and fights it every step of the way.
This is a very intense romance between Mary and Brodie as lust turns into love. On the lighthearted side I loved Howler a large sloppy hound who adores his master, and things Brodie does to keep his woman and hound happy. What a man! Sex on legs with a heart of gold what more do you want a great love story with plenty of hot sex . Well read it and find out how it all plays out. If you enjoyed it as much as me there is his brother Jack’s story coming next, can’t wait.

Fever Rising is an action-packed dystopian novel that had me on the edge of my seat! The main character, Kaden, is a lovable giant with a good heart and plenty of brawn. The opening scene had me overcome with anticipation and sets the tone for the rest of the book.
At first, I was confused, especially with the narration. I really had to concentrate so I could get the world building clear in my head.
Cassidy Havok rescues Kaden and together they set out to help the to bring the system down. In a world that owns you and can do what it wants with you. Make family members kill each other. Cassidy well, let's just say she is the most resilient character I have come across.
Her fearless attitude is enough to inspire even the timidity person. Once I understood what was going on, I really enjoyed the adventure Cassidy pulls Kaden into.
The narration felt just like someone reading the story , which was why you had to concentrate so hard at the beginning.

Falling for The Playboy is the second in a new series of standalones called kennedy Fox ‘s bedtime read.
This was an intriguing read as we have Olivia who is super organised and works as an author’s assistant. The Author Rachel is like a demon and is so demanding, but Olivia desperately needs her job, so she gives into Rachel’s excessive demands.
Things start heating up the embark on a book tour with Rachel’s only her male model for her book series is coming along and he doesn’t fly so Olivia will have to drive him instead of flying. Maverick is portrayed as a hot playboy model, so off they go driving across the country. The more that get know each other the more the sparks fly. This is an easy and it seemed quick, but I fascinated by the author being a romance novelist. I wonder who she was based on?
I really enjoyed this, very little angst, who cares I went bed byes with a big smile on face. I loved Maverick, but Olivia drove me mad for her, after all she put up with from Rachel. A sweet sexy read with plenty of fun, and a pleasure to read.

It was real pleasure to read Control a 1001 nights novella. In the book we meet Desi who runs a business from home, Desi likes to keep control in her relationships. Not that she had relationships with men, just hook ups, nothing emotional.
Reznor is a commander of a swat team in San Francisco, after a very bad experience he takes time off to recover. He rents a house next to Desi a hot sexy woman and Rez is smitten.
This is cat and mouse romance for every step Rez makes forward Desi pushes two back. A Hot sexy romance that keeps glued to the page. At times this laugh out loud romance with some of the thing’s that happen. A lot of great chemistry between Rez and Desi. A perfect read from Kate Bromberg, with plenty of fun and games.

Review: Control

Control Control by K. Bromberg
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
It was real pleasure to read Control a 1001 nights novella. In the book we meet Desi who runs a business from home, Desi likes to keep control in her relationships. Not that she had relationships with men, just hook ups, nothing emotional.

Review: Lincoln Shaw: a book in the Cotton Creek Saga

Lincoln Shaw: a book in the Cotton Creek Saga Lincoln Shaw: a book in the Cotton Creek Saga by Ciana Stone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.blog,
Well what a book Ciana always know how to keep you emotionally connected to her stories and this one is no different. In this book we meet Lincoln who is Deacon and Wiley’s younger brother. I just loved how Lulu describes him and calls him Thor. I was hot and bothered the whole way through book, my imagination was running wild every time Lincoln appeared. Tall, Blonde full of muscles looks like an Asgardians. What’s not to like?
Tallulah Christmas Duval has come to Cotton Creek on a job, she doesn’t expect to feel at home for the first time in her life. What she can’t resist is Thor and I can’t blame her. The sparks when these two are together are more like hot flames. As usual I feel I just come home from visiting my favorite place. That’s how Ciana writes her books you feel invested in the people you have spent time with. Cotton Creek always feels like visiting with some of my friends and family.
I really enjoyed this book a great addition to the series and it was great meeting up some of my favorite people. I absolutely loved Lulu and Lincoln together, even though Lulu gave him a run for his money. Lincoln had to work to enchant Lulu even if he did look like Thor.If you want something extra from your romance, this is the series for you. Each book is a complete story, we just meet we friends and family from previous books.

Review: Damaged

Damaged Damaged by Jeanne St James
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.blog,
This is a great story of Colby Parks and Mace Walker. While housesitting for a friend Colby is
woken up one night when a handsome hunk FBI Undercover agent lets himself in. Mace had been injured and had come home to recuperate.
This book has everything Suspense, plenty of Hot Sex, and Romance. A great story that has plenty to keep you entertained. We also have dual narration hearing from both Colby and Mace. The Damaged in the title refers to both Colby and Mace, being together they finally start to heal each other. Colby is a great character which keeps Mace on his toes.
We only have one narrator who manages to keep me attached to my earphones.
I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Jeanne St. James. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

Review: Slow Burn

Slow Burn Slow Burn by Danielle Norman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
This is definitely a slow burn of a romance, Paris’s best friend Asher, upsets the applecart when he tells her he is in love with her. Paris’s shock is absolute, and she rejects him outright. Asher drowns his sorrow, because he thought they were on the same page, and now he didn’t have his best friend or love of his life. At times I just wanted shake Paris, she was so frustrating . This was more of a sweet romance once they got together. This is like being in the middle family squabble, and made for entertaining reading.
This is the second book in the Iron House Series, with three sisters Holland, Paris and London. I can’t wait to read Holland’s story.

Review: How About No

How About No How About No by Lani Lynn Vale
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.blog,
This is the third book in the Bear Bottom MC Series but can be read as a standalone. This is the story of Wade and Landry who at the start of the book are divorced, but its clear they still love it other. Especially when Wade is shot in the line of duty, as Wade was an ex-navy seal and now a policeman.
It brings home to Landry how much she still loves Wade, as she waits in the hospital for news it makes her realise what’s important. This can be called a second chance romance, but this so much more. We have Wade determined to understand Landry and the damage her upbringing has caused and still does.
As this is Bear Bottom there a lot of mayhem going on. This is at time a very emotional story, and Landry discovers how much she is loved and not all family are blood. This LLV at her best, as her storytelling always affects me emotionally , and so it feels like it’s your best friends this happening too. If you  have already read LLV you know what I mean, if not give one of books a go and see what I mean. Lani Lynn Vale has very quickly become one of my auto buy authors.

Review: Dirty Sexy Games

Dirty Sexy Games Dirty Sexy Games by Laurelin Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Well I’m just trying to cool down after finishing Dirty Sexy Games, my god Weston King was so hot, and I couldn’t help but fall for him. After reading Weston in some the other books I thought he was a lightweight. This is a wonderfully entertaining Duet, The marriage of convenience is a well-used theme in romance novel, but this is in a league of its own.
Laurelin Paige is a master when she writes about rich entitled playboys, but even better when she redeems them when they meet that one woman who they love unconditionally. This is a beautiful, sexy, Hot love story. We really get to know Elizabeth a lot more part two, and what makes her tick.
Elizabeth and Weston have so much emotional baggage and secrets. Falling in love and being together brings them more understanding. A wonderful ending to a delightful sexy duet. This has been out in audio before the book, all I can say is I have the best of both worlds.
the Audio has wonderful dual narration with Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolfe

Review: Honor Kills

Honor Kills Honor Kills by Nanci Rathbun
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live.
Well I am in mourning after finishing the third audiobook chronicling the adventures Angelina Bonaparte private Detective, and heroine to this woman of a certain age. Book three starts innocuous enough with Bobbie doing a check on the Marcy Wagner case and finding an obituary in a newspaper. Angelina has been searching for any trace of Hank of over 5 years when he walked out on his wife and family. This case is mentioned in first two books in passing
Nothing is what it seems, and before we know it Angie is in the middle of a murder and betrayal. As usual Angie and friends and family connections all rally around to help Marcy get the answer she had been waiting for. I’m now in mourning until book four comes out.

Review: Her Legacy

Her Legacy Her Legacy by Teresa Crumpton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on behalf of http://bookaddict.live,
Wow I do love a good supernatural mixed with history and folklore. We follow heiress Alexis after she inherits the family legacy Foster House that been in the family for a long time, but she knew nothing about. Teresa in her notes alludes to her family’s history and lore, and that’s what make this so believable.
It felt like I was there with Alexis, and it was my family I am hooked. This all starts at a funeral, when we meet Alexis and the story unfolds. Alexis is studying law and an intern at the district attorney’s Office. Suddenly she is thrust into an adventure of supernatural proportions. I not giving anything away except I am absolutely hooked and I need book two now. This is so fascinating all the
History mixed with folklore, I was hooked and right up my alley I couldn’t put it down and I had to get to the end, only to realise there’s another book to come. If you enjoy a good supernatural with plenty of suspense then this is one for you.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Review: Bloodties

Bloodties Bloodties by Teresa Crumpton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
The first I have to say is you must read The Legacy first as this carries on from that book. I read the Legacy when it came out, and I ‘ve been waiting for Bloodties forever. When Alexis inherited a big old house from her uncle Woodie she discovers there is a lot more to it. Alexis is an empath and discover Josh and Tucker can damper the feelings when things get bad.
In this book Alexis finds out more about her powers and how to deal with the fact the house is full of ghosts as wells as the house itself talks to her and some the knights.
In this book its nonstop action all centered around the families and the house we find out so much more and then nothing the end and now I have to wait for the next book to find out more. This kept me gripped through all the pages, that meant it felt like minutes instead hours when reading.

Review: Royally Yours

Royally Yours Royally Yours by Emma Chase
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on behalf of http://bookaddict.live,
What utter perfection Royally Yours is to read.
Reading about Lenora as a young woman was the icing on the royal cake made with Chocolate sublime.
We meet Lenora as a teenager following her father as he attends to his royal duties. From an early age Lenora has known she was going to be the first queen to rule Wessco. Spending very little time being a young girl, so it was beautiful reading about her relationship with Thomas and his brother Prince Edward. Thomas being her first friend had a positive influence by teaching her to be young.
This was such a pleasure reading about this woman who we know from previous books as the family’s matriarch. This is a five-star read as a beautiful story of heartbreak and finding love and joy. After reading the other books makes this so much more.

Review: Dangerous Exes

Dangerous Exes Dangerous Exes by Rachel Van Dyken
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dangerous Exes is the second in the series, it carries on from the end of the last book, when their PI Dirty Exes company investigates and outs cheating spouses. One of there clients wasn’t was using the company to humiliate her ex-husband because she received no money in the divorce.
Jessie Beckett is mad and wants to make them pay so he is spying on them, especially Isla its really getting to her.
This is a funny story of enemies to lovers, to get the media of Jessie’s back, as it was their company’s fault for his bad press.
To get back at his ex and rehabilitation of his reputation. They decide that Isla and Jessie are going to pretend to be a couple. Well we always know what happens, the sparks fly. This Rachel Van Dyken at her best giving us a hilarious and hot romance between Jessie and mistrusting Isla. Great fun from the start until that wonderful ending. I have to say this is my favourite in this hilarious RomCom Series. I’m not saying anymore just read it for yourself and have a great time..

Review: I Bet You

I Bet You I Bet You by Ilsa Madden-Mills
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.blog,
This an entertaining romance between the nerdy intelligent sassy Penelope and the heartthrob on the campus Ryker quarterback of the college football team.
This semester is important for both, as they are working hard for the careers they both want.
So, no distractions for Ryker, so it’s a real shock when he can’t stop thinking about Red. As much as Penelope wishes she could stop her fantasies about Ryker and she keeps writing him the lead roll in the romantic fiction she is writing. Penelope wants to be an author as that’s her goal she needs a nice intelligent guy, except Ryker is intelligent and kind and she tingles when he touches him.
This is a sweet entertaining romance and it shows you need to learn to look past labels get to know someone. Ryker and Penelope became friends, but it just wasn’t enough for both of them. This is a great college based romance, and great fun watching Ryker and Penelope dance around each other. There is much more to this entertaining romance, but that’s for you to find out.

Review: Winning Whitney

Winning Whitney Winning Whitney by Kat Mizera
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.blog,
Winning Whitney is story of Jake the captain of The Alaska Blizzards, we have met him in previous books, but this can still be read as a standalone. Whitney is staying with Hayley and Kane looking after their twins.
Whitney is absolutely gobsmacked when a man she spent a hot few days with in Boston four years previously walks into Hailey’s house with Kane. Whitney realizes Jake is Jackson who she has never forgotten. Jake can’t believe it’s  his found the woman his never forgotten.
Every time Jake and Whitney are together in a room both feel the sexual tension, but there is so much going on in both their lives the road ahead is rocky. As we all know the fun is in going along that road.
Another romance in this enchanting series based in Alaska that always make me shiver when I read one. A good solid romance with plenty sexual tension between the two.
All the books in this series can be read as a standalone, but reading them in order gives you a greater understanding of the background other characters who begin to feel like old friends. As this is only book three, its not that many books to catch up on.

Review: Finding My Fight

Finding My Fight Finding My Fight by R.G. Corr
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
Well the first thing I have to say is My God What A Book, I’m still trying to calm down. This is not a pretty romance, for most of it the heroine was suffering at first physically and then what seemed worst mentally. R.G Corr’s attention to detail when approaching the subject is superb carrying the reader all through the story and Ginny’s circumstances, leaving me feeling the fear and the feelings of hopelessness with her.
All in all, I think this was a story of hope, but with realism because anyone going through what Ginny went through wouldn’t heal overnight and them walk into the sunset with a new man. That’s all I’m saying I’m trying not to add any spoilers.
I would like a Nate waiting for me, giving Ginny hope for the future. A superb and realistic story of Ginny and Nates family recovering and having a positive outcome

Review: Aries' Red Sky

Aries' Red Sky Aries' Red Sky by James L. Young Jr.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
I have to say this a long audiobook, and at first you must concentrate to make sure you don’t get names and ships in a muddle. The human world as we know is now Known as The Confederation as we have planets in many systems.
We also have the Spartan Empire who left earth 700 years before to escape a dictatorship called the Harran Empire, as they wanted to have religious freedoms. All this time they have been preparing for a war with the Terran Empire.
In this wonderful space opera there is  good and the bad on both sides. How normal people act and terrible war crimes committed by both sides. This is a long Audiobook, but you begin to know the characters involved, and you begin to root for them.
The narration is superb when you consider all the different voices. When I was listening, I was on the deck of a spaceship listening to what was going on. I was lucky as I was on many ships and planets. When I’m really in the action I don’t like to be pulled out of the action. That is the mark of great narrator, and this narrator really sent me on a wondrous journey

I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by James Young. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

Review: Shifters and Glyphs

Shifters and Glyphs Shifters and Glyphs by Christina Bauer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
Wow what a book, Christina Bauer has created another series which has become a must buy for me. This book blew me a away with all our heroes in it, but this was definitely Bryer Rose and Knox’s story. One I never saw coming, I thought this would be centred on her trek into schooling west Lake Prep, but that was a small part.
This book is centred around the Autumn equinox and tracking down the fountain of magic to strengthen the magic, as it is in danger of dying out. This is an action packed adventured and Bryer learning to let herself love and accept love from Knox. I not going to tell you anymore about this book except to say  I was blown away and this series get better with every book. Christine Bauer has such an incredible imagination that has me addicted to her storytelling.

Review: Big Stick

Big Stick Big Stick by Kelly Jamieson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.blog,
Big Stick is a super sweet story of Nick Balachov an Aces Hockey Player, and a super loner that has to force himself to go to his friend Hallsy party. Nick is going through a bad patch and Kendra’s friend Jodie is driving him mad she just doesn't stop talking. Jodie and her toddler daughter Zyana need somewhere to stay, and Nick has an empty Coach House. Well I think we all know what happens after Jodie and Zyana move in.
This is a sweet romance between a moody giant and Jodie a devoted mother and business woman.
I love a good sexy romance when I’m imagining the well-built athletic men turning into loving men and father figures. So it’s the journey we enjoy in this sweet romance with a bit of sexy times thrown in.
Nick was so sweet with little Zyana, looking after when she was ill.
