Review: The Edge of Us

The Edge of Us The Edge of Us by Veronica Larsen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow this book pulled me through the ringer. We meet Mila, a strong independent woman who followed her well defined goals and dreams. These were qualities that made me immediately connect to her. We meet Andrew who works for Mila, and been a great support and become Mila’s best friend. Things seem to be changing between them, but alas I felt no real chemistry. love but not in love
If you really knew Mila, you would know she's not the kind of woman you claim. She's the kind of woman who claims you."

Then Cole enters the story, all we know is he left Mila at the Alter, and she hasn’t had a decent relationship since. It allowed Mila to direct all her passion and energy into her career. "It seems we can't ever get it right, chance and circumstance intent on keeping us apart. Intent on proving what we might feel for each other pales in comparison to situations that hamper our growth. As though all we're ever meant to do is miss each other. A cycle we can't break. A story without an end."

I was held enthralled by this novel, and it pulled me into the action and I couldn’t break free and found myself thinking about the characters and how they held me even when I finished reading. We find out there is a lot more going with Cole than we realise. I not saying anymore because you will have to read The Edge of Us to find out anymore.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review
