Commander in Chief by Katy Evans

This second instalment in the series starts two months after Matt winning the Election for the Presidency. Charlotte has been travelling with her friend in Europe, but has come back home to watch Matt be sworn in as President. They both knew going into the relationship, if he won the Presidency even though they loved each other they would part. Charlotte still loved him more than ever, and missed him so much.
Matt is still in love with Charlotte, and decided to win her back to his side.
We see through the eyes of one of the most famous couple in America and the rest of the western world how they conduct their relationship.
Matt realises he will do anything to get Charlotte back into his life. When they work closely together as Matt asked her to stand in as the Acting First Lady because he is bachelor.
We see a wonderful romance with Matt trying his to win Charlotte, and run the Country. They both are incredibly busy, but when Matt can put time aside he spends it  making feel her feel loved. It hard dating the President of the United States, but both are determined to make it work. So I recommend you press that button and order the book yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

Review: Safe Bet

Safe Bet Safe Bet by Monica Murphy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Safe Bet was like stepping back in time with Drew and Fable, and a wonderful family union all in one story.
Sydney was a mixed up teenager, who comes from an entitled rich background who thought College and work were for other people until her parents disowned her.
I loved Wade, he was a great character. Very serious about his career and making enough money to make sure his mother can retire. Meeting Sydney gave him a chance to still be a young with someone he really likes.
Wade needs someone just for him, and Sydney learns she can be liked for herself.
My one complaint it finished too soon. I really enjoyed this book, it was easy to read. Sydney and Wade were a very likable pair. As always Monica Murphy hits the right note with regards to her young adult books. It was wonderful to catch up with Drew and Fable. I remember reading One Week Girlfriend and being blown away, nothing has changed. I haven’t read The Rules Series, but I think I will now. I would say you could pick the book up and read as a standalone, and still enjoy the read. This is a lovable romance between to likable characters, and sometimes it’s nice to read a feel good book.

Review: Surrender

Surrender Surrender by Lisa Renee Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Review
Surrender ( Careless Whispers #3 )

We are finally here, the conclusion to this trilogy. It was everything I wanted and more. At the beginning we get a great summery of the main characters and what we know from previous books. I’ve noticed this before, and considering the time lapse between books, it’s a great tool to put you in the right frame of mind. As most of us haven’t the time to reread the others in the series to remind us.
It’s very difficult to do a non-spoiler review when you’re bursting with excitement. The relationship between Kayden and Ella is now better than ever as they work as a team to eliminate the threats to Ella and the Underground.
As at the end of Denial Ella and Kayden are very much in love, and all Kayden wants to do is protect Ella. I will say after the planning something unforeseen always happens, and Ella knows she can defend herself when needed, and her memory is nearly back to normal.
As always a great conclusion to the Careless Whispers trilogy. I read it in one seating, I couldn’t wish for more. A five star read in anyone’s book.

Review: Rulers of Darkness Box Set

Rulers of Darkness Box Set Rulers of Darkness Box Set by Amanda J. Greene
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rulers of Darkness is three Vampire romances with a fair amount of sex thrown for good measure.
Caressed by Moonlight #1

The book is set in London 1814, and is the of the first vampire king Dorian to meet his long awaited mate Victoria.
I really enjoyed this book it quickly introduces the reader London society, and Vampire law and dramas.
Dorian marries Victoria to help her out as she destitute, and her awful aunt has her younger sister. This is an enjoyable romance that leads nicely into the second book.
Caressed by Night #2

This is the story Dimitri and Kerstyn and set in modern day Las Vegas. Dimitri had faked his own death, but has to come out hiding as he needs help finding and keeping his mate alive. This was another read that is very hot and sexy and with drama continuing in vampire community as a whole, and setting the scenes for other adventures.
Caressed by a Crimson Moon #3

This is the third and final book of the trio. This is the mad King Hadrian’s story and how he met his Queen Eva, and won back his clan. In this book you really begin to understand some of the other supernatural races. As well as other characters ready for their own book. A good collection of romances for lovers of the Paranormal. Review: Separation Games

Separation Games Separation Games by C.D. Reiss
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

These are the unbreakable rules in the game.

Stay collected. Compartmentalize. Think your next move through.
Never let your heart dictate your tactics.
The heart is impulsive.
The heart makes bad decisions.
The heart doesn’t see the long game.
The heart may have decided to get Adam back, but when the endgame comes, the heart’s going to be the one to break.
These are the unbreakable rules in the game.

Separation Games starts almost immediately after Marriage Games is finished. I was as devastated as Diana was when Adam walked out.
We start book two with Diana determined to get her husband back, and willing to play dirty to do it. The real Adam, the part he kept hidden because he felt ashamed to show that part of himself to Diana. So he suppressed an important part of himself.
The first half was mostly Diana’s point of view, and her dirty games to get Adam to admit his feelings and get to the real Adam. The second half was from both points of view. So join the Games to see how The Separation Games are played and see who comes out top. I loved both books and fell for Adam straightaway, it took me longer to warm to Diana. Adam’s name for Diana is The Huntress, and that never changes even when she submits in the bedroom. This is a love story where they both fall in love with their real spouses and finding the love to trust in each other. I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
