Review: Separation Games

Separation Games Separation Games by C.D. Reiss
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

These are the unbreakable rules in the game.

Stay collected. Compartmentalize. Think your next move through.
Never let your heart dictate your tactics.
The heart is impulsive.
The heart makes bad decisions.
The heart doesn’t see the long game.
The heart may have decided to get Adam back, but when the endgame comes, the heart’s going to be the one to break.
These are the unbreakable rules in the game.

Separation Games starts almost immediately after Marriage Games is finished. I was as devastated as Diana was when Adam walked out.
We start book two with Diana determined to get her husband back, and willing to play dirty to do it. The real Adam, the part he kept hidden because he felt ashamed to show that part of himself to Diana. So he suppressed an important part of himself.
The first half was mostly Diana’s point of view, and her dirty games to get Adam to admit his feelings and get to the real Adam. The second half was from both points of view. So join the Games to see how The Separation Games are played and see who comes out top. I loved both books and fell for Adam straightaway, it took me longer to warm to Diana. Adam’s name for Diana is The Huntress, and that never changes even when she submits in the bedroom. This is a love story where they both fall in love with their real spouses and finding the love to trust in each other. I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
