Reviewed on behalf of http://bookaddict.live,
We meet Mark a nice young man who wants to go to the Police Academy but has to work to save some money to pay for the course and to live while training.
Mark is lucky and gets a casual job at a Burlesques Theatre helping with the equipment.
While on the job he meets Lara a young girl who is the Pussycat Angels Star who is also blessed with an incredible voice. He is smitten and his mission is to keep Lara safe at all cost. These two young couple were so beautiful together. Unfortunately things aren’t what they seem, and a predator walks the halls at the theatre where most of the girls live. Lara and Molly a young girl Lara has taken her under her wing are not safe as a predator has them in his sights.
You have to read it, it kept gripped from start to finish, and there is some darker elements in the story. Overall this is story about life and the more sordid part. Mark and Lara are learning to survive, and starting enjoy life. The cliffhanger is just cruel that’s why I can’t wait for part two.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
