Tru Blue by Melissa Foster
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Tru Blue was wonderful uplifting tale of love in its many forms. On the surface Tru has to deal with some very unpleasant and heartbreaking events, but at his core he remains a wonderful man with lots of love to give.
Tru counts his blessings when he meets Gemma, while shopping for baby things late at night. Gemma comes from a completely different background from Tru, she may have had material things, but her parents were very distant.
So Gemma has turned her back on her moneyed background, has moved to Peaceful Harbour and opened a Princess Shop. Which is designed for children’s parties. At first glance you think they would have nothing in common. Both Tru and Gemma have both been let down by their parents in one way or another. Both have so much love to give, and luckily they found each other. I can recommend this story while it has some upsetting scenes, but it’s a joy to read don’t let yourself be put off.
