At the start of book two Mako is in a coma, and the knights are recovering from the battle, and sitting at Mako bedside waiting for her recover.
I glad I have read book one otherwise this would have felt more like an interlude to get to know the Star Knights and the spirits inside them. I don’t want to give anything away, but Mako comes out of the coma. Still very weak and it’s during this time that solid bond is formed with her knights and we learn more about them. I would advise you to read book one before this one to help you understand more.
One word of warning this ends on a cliffhanger so now we wait for number three. So we can enjoy this unique paranormal series.
