Review: Slay Me

Slay Me Slay Me by Louise Cypress
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reviewed on http://bookaddict.live,
Slay Me is the last in the trilogy and concentrates on Cassandra and Kyle. For the first time ever Cassie goes to high School after being home schooled all her life. So when a handsome guy chats her up she thinks he is trying to hurt her, and her ninja fighting skills come out. When she tells parents they tell her he was asking her out not attacking her.
There is only one thing wrong with him and that is he is a Puritan Vampire and being fostered at Morgan’s stepmother and Dad’s house. Kyle is actually 19 but stopped growing at 16 when was turned and on the run. He trying to live normally so he ages, and he is hot for Cassie.
This is a great story right from the word go, hilarious and plenty of payback from the slayers, with crooked Senators, and business men using they vampiric gifts for corruption. I loved this one, but it wasn’t as funny as some of the others. A great ending to a terrific trilogy. The Narrators were Cassie and Kyle, but Alexander had such enthusiasm it was a joy to listen.
